Our Story

FHFR was created after we lost a close friend to heroin overdose in June of 2020. We live in a tiny mountain town in southwest Colorado and are blessed with a tight-knit network of friends that are family. Johnny had struggled with heroin for over a decade but it seemed that he was able to better stay away from it here. He moved to Seattle in early 2020 where heroin was much more prevalent and accessible and things quickly turned dark.

We have poured our grief in to this project in an effort toward personal healing, with the hope of positively affecting the lives of others. We want to provide the opportunity for support for those struggling with addiction in order to break this unnecessary cycle of pain and heartache.
